Well, now that Layla is out of her cone I’m giving her 2-3 weeks for her hormones to settle down. Then the bunny dates begin! I know of the SE-Pennsylvania rabbit rescue. Can anyone else point me towards any other places in south eastern pennsylvania who would be friendly towards the idea of bunny dating? Sarah and I have both come to terms that since Layla will be living with whatever boy gets adopted, it is more Layla’s decision than ours, lol (here is hoping she chooses either a flemish giant, an angora, or a lop ).

did you check pefinder at all? you might be able to find a smaller, private rescue (like KokaneeandKahlua’s or where i got my boy Max). just a private thing that’s run by a person, or a couple people out of their home. i think you should also determine how far you’re willing to travel (i drove 3 hours roundtrip to get Max) which i didn’t feel was unreasonable at all…

I checked petfinder and there are a number that are local, however I didn’t see any that were the type of place where you could really do bunny dating

I am just now beginning to look though, so I could easily be wrong.

You know you should contact every rescue that you can possibly get to and see if they’d allow it; They may never have even heard of bunny dating but allow it if you explain what your looking to do-you could even start them allowing it! Good luck!
