My students wanted me to post some links for their fave bunny commercials. I hope this works & that its all ok w/ Binky Bunny. I thought it would be entertaining for some of our internationals bunny lovers:

I found this on that commercial. I agree, they should have just skipped the whole bunny swimming. Is the bunnies ears back because they are upset or a natural instinct to keep water out of the ears? Either way he doesnt look happy.

Bunny Ad – I guess bunnies in the Traveler’s Insurance Rabbit TV Ad have something to do with luck. I understand the rabbits' legs were dyed with a vegetable based dye and the humane society was on hand to make sure the bunnies were okay. You can see the ad at the link above. I don't know how the rabbits feel about having brightly colored paws or insurance, but they are stars.
The rabbit foot commercial is VERY contraversial. When I was little, I used to get rabbit feet when on vacation in Native American regions. We used to visit reservations and Native American business in upper WI, MI, and Canada. Anyway, I'm embarassed to say but I used to buy "lucky rabbit's feet"....I had no idea that they were made from real rabbits. Once I was old enough to figure that out I was really disgusted. I have spent many years trying to atone for such misdeeds by being a veg (just like my bunnies) and pro-animal rights, anti-fur, etc. I've actually been involved w/ animal rights stuff for more than 20 years.....
Anyway...despite my political learnings....for the sake of seeing bunnies, I thought the traveler's commercial was really cute. I like to think that for all the mis-justice to animals, it would be nice if there was a paw reattachment clinic or fur transplant facility...
I remember that someone...I'm drawing a blank...had posted a near-drowning by their bun after they got into a partially filled tub. My kids definately know about the bunnies & water. I let them know about the near drowning when it was first posted.
Love to all our bunnies everywhere!!!
That was my Pepper who almost drowned, so while I find the bunnies in the comemrcial cute, I worry that someone will see it and think "wow - i'll bet my bunny would like to swim" and then toss Cupcake in a pool.
Skunklionshow - you probably have the best educated students about bunnies that exist Thats a great step forward towards kindness to bunnies!
