So I was informed about a site called http://www.igive.com – it’s an online shopping center where if you go through them, part of your purchases will be donated to your favorite cause.  I had first thought that the stores there would be silly things like “Aunt Ruth’s Potpourri” but they have mainstream stores – such as Apple, eBay, Newegg, Dell, etc. (sorry really only do shopping for tech stuff).  Even just using their search engine nets 2 cents for each search done.  I’ve raised $5.50 in just a week’s time.

They also have an iGive toolbar that integrates with your web browser so that after you visit one of the merchants through the iGive store, it will automatically log you into the system when you visit them again – even if you don’t go through their site (at least I get a notification everytime I visit eBay).

SaveABunny is on there (search for SaveABunny) or you can look for your own rescue.  Check it out.  It’s a way to raise money without it costing you a cent!

I’ve been hearing about something like this on the radio, but I think it’s called something else here. I was going to sign up and put SaveABunny on my list. ^_^
          Thanks for the info, Markus!

EDIT: I just thought of something. I know a seller on Ebay who donates to her local HRS from her sales. Is it possible to become an affiliate of places like iGive.com if you are a seller on Ebay? Or does the Ebay site just put a portion of your seller fees towards this organization?

At The Haven, we also use GoodSearch and GoodShop, which are similar things from Yahoo.
