        Dear All,

        Forestville, MD 20747
        Phone: 301-499-8300

If anyone in the MD area is interested in adopting one of them, then our group can help with the spay/neuter surgery. (***The spay/neuter surgery would need to be done at the Cat and Dog Hospital in Columbia, Maryland though, since that is the vet’s office that helps with our group’s s/n surgeries.)

            SOME MORE INFO FROM BUNSPACE.COM:

There are several rescues in the MD/DC/VA area. I’m hoping that I can get someone’s (anyone’s) attention who can help.  The shelter is very rescue friendly, and as long as a rescue group is a 501(c)3 they can pull, even if the rescue is out of state.

I’m also with a DC-based rescue, Friends of Rabbits (http://www.friendsofrabbits.org), but I’m currently in Germany on a Fulbright and can’t get these 3 out. No one else in our group has room at the moment. Friends of Rabbits has taken out every rabbit from this shelter since February 2008. (The total we’ve pulled out from Feb.-Aug. 2008 has been around 60 rabbits.) I can’t find anyone to get these 3 to safety though.

I have no idea what kind of condition they are in. I was only told in an email that they just came in from a cruelty situation. In Prince George’s County, Maryland that probably means they were going to be used for dog fighting or to feed some drug dealer’s snake. It would be great if we could see a happy end for all three of them. Lord knows what they’ve probably been through already. The ones we’ve pulled in the past have come from some horrific situations. It’s nice to then see them start to trust people and eventually get adopted into loving homes. I just hope that these are given a chance.

            PLEASE!!

CAN ANYBODY GET THEM OUT OF THERE TO SAFETY???
