This just came across one of the other bunny boards I am on.

        "orphaned domestic baby
        Hey all –

Anyone living within 4 or 5 hours of Connecticut that has a mommy bunny nursing newborns that might be willing to take on another child?

I’ve called several rescues in my area already. I can hand raise, but if anyone has a nursing mom I’d rather baby had a better chance at surviving.

We had a client come in today with one newborn baby. They just got mom last month, didn’t know she was pregnant. You know how it goes. Tonight they found this baby behind a chair in the living room and mom dead behind the sofa. The woman was distraught, so I took the baby. Told her chances are slim, but she would like the baby if it makes it through.

Baby is healthy, warm, and feeding. Please let me know if you can help. I will drive."
