…but the idea is so fun that I have to ask…

I often see rabbit leashes at the store, but I can’t imagine that a city girl like me walking a rabbit is safe.  However, I think a curious rabbit like Quincy would love walking to the park (a few blocks from my building), and he’s showed me that he doesn’t need to poop just everywhere.

Am I nuts for even thinking about it?

Nope not at all. Sounds fun. When I go places closeby I put him on leash for satety reasons. The park sounds fun. Though be very careful of the dogs and such. The rabbit walks you not the other way around. Just be sure the grass isn’t sprayed with pesticides. I feel better keeping Cotton close to home when I put him on the ground to play. With an eye out for coons dogs cats and birds of prey. OH and ants too be careful around those things.

I would like to take mine to the park we are going to BBQ but I just dont’ feel comfy doing that. Most of my attention will be on the fire and food.

Hmm… so this is doable… I’ll have to try him around the building first to see if he freaks out. I wonder if he’ll even let me put a harness on him?

How can I find out if the park uses pesticides?

as long as you are prepared to go wherever your bunny wants to go.. you cant so much walk them as follow them around, you could take them their in a carrier and then just hold their lead while they are on the grass, you must also be prepared to pick them up whenever a dog comes near because a dog could attack him.
