so, i just found a tic on my bunny’s ear.  now, we used to live in the country (next to a farm) and she’d get a few only on her ears during the summer time. i would let her play outside and i would check her before bringing her back in and would find them. but now we live in a city, an apartment with a well manicured lawn… so i don’t know how she just got another one! is there anything, like they have for dogs etc, that will protect from tics, etc? she loves her playtime outside more than anything and i don’t want to take that away!!  thank you all!!

My vet said that Revolution can take care of fleas, mites and "sometimes" ticks. But you can’t use Revolution as prescribed for cats, so call a rabbit savvy vet to get the right dosage for your bunny. They’ll want to know her weight.

Whatever you do, do NOT use Frontline.  Dangerous to rabbits.

I’ve read that Advantage (if that is available in your area) is also safe for use in rabbits but is only effective against fleas.
