I put the rabbits back in their condo last night, as soon as I did, I noticed the mum started humping at the babies, and then the babies started getting agitated. Could mum be the instigator of the fighting?

It sure sounds like it. It sounds like she is asserting dominance over them and well any mum with that many babies would get agitated. Perhaps you can try giving her some alone time?

Bunnytowne – At their current age, they should not be nursing. Lisa, how many weeks are they now, 12?

They are not feeding anymore, they are now a whopping 18 weeks old. Hasn’t time flown by Scarlet?

She probably just needs a bit of a break maybe you can house her in a cage next to the babies – but not right in the cage with them?
