Hi, Everyone,

Twice today I read posts where the problem of uploading large pictures was mentioned, so thought I'd share this program I recently found for Windows XP.

First, here's the link below. I hope it opens to the article/link to the program. It's free of course. (Me buy one? hahahahaha)

If the link doesn't do it right, just go to Microsoft.com's Windows XP section, "Using Digital Photography," "learning tips." The page is called Resize digital pictures quickly. You just download Image Resizer. Once it's installed, you can right click any of your jpgs and a menu appears, select Resize Pictures. Next menu just click the dot of Small, Medium, Large, etc. (I know you could resize pix more exactly with other programs by changing dpi, image size, etc. but this is quick and easy.) It will create a copy of your jpg next to the original with the name and add (small) in parentheses in the title. Keep the original or not. The smallest is not as small as a thumbnail, but I find it loads up here pretty quickly. Good luck.

Oh, my! I just posted this and saw Ospry's post on the same subject, which is probably where I learned it in the first place!

Sorry Ospry. Maybe I will leave this so it appears again as a new post/reminder.
