After all of Jessica's drama and trauma...I completely understand why she's anti- people and the world.  What can I do now to help her love again? 

Since she's on cage rest for the next few weeks (per Vet)...I can't let her free roam, nor come out of the cage.  I have to burrito her to administer meds and compress her wounds twice daily.    If I didn't towel her, she would tear up my hand when I have to take her out of her cage.

How can I re-socialize her to love me again?  What can I do to alleviate some of her stress?

Well, i think that you taking care of her is definitely going to help her re-socialize, maybe not right away, but soon she will realize you are making her feel better! Also, I had a very skittish bunny, and it took him about a week to warm up to me, I would sit next to his cage a read out loud to him, the news or magazines or whatever I was reading at the time. Also, a raisin here and there helped a lot, can she have any treats? Also, when bunnies do the grunt/lunge, if you can get your hand on top of their head and start petting, they tend to calm down. I would get my skittish bunny into a corner and then he had nowhere to go and i would start petting his head, and he would slowly relax. little jess is probably just a bit grumpy at the moment...I think that she will recover & love again!!

So she can't even come out into a small pen to at least get a little bit of exercise? What injuries did she sustain again?

I know that when I had to administer meds to Rucy for months, during that time, I sure wasn't her best friend!   What did help I made sure to spend time near her, and if she would allow me to pet her, I would, otherwise, I would offer a treat and just hang out - have a book or type on my laptop.
