Hmm bit of a funny problem.. i have introduced my dogs to the rabbit and they got on ok one i am still having to keep seperate as he wasnt best pleased but the other didnt mind so i am allowing him supervised visitation hehe anyway when he is in with the bunny as soon as the bunny poops he runs over and eats it i have obviously stopped him as often as i can but is this doing him any harm? Will it make my dog sick? Thanks!

No it is not harmful, my two toy poodles eat rabbit and cat poop.

I found this information about it.

LOL, our dog actually pokes Shadow’s butt to get him to produce more poops to eat and he cries when the rabbit fails to produce. It is not harmful.

when i brought home pinky – bunny #2 – my dog said “yay!  another pez dispenser for meeeee!”  lol.  altho gross, it’s actually very handy since i have a lot less stray poopies to sweep up.

LOL, pez dispenser was out knick name for our first bun. And it is very true…if you can’t beat them…let them make themselves useful.

There is no harm as long as your bunny does not have any intestinal parasites (not all are visible to the eye)- your vet can check a stool sample to let you know for sure.

ooo ho ho on the pez dispenser, that’s all kinds of wrong!

regardless, it doesn’t sound like it’s likely great for your doggie and I’d prolly discourage him from eating the bunny poops.
