i was going to respond earlier but my computer was acting up and it wouldn't let me add a reply.
is this the same vet that did Baby's surgery? if so, i assume the vet is savvy, but the receptionist is not. you should definitely discuss this with the vet, so if nothing else she can educate her receptionist that spaying is something that is recommended. (besides all the business the receptionist must be turning away...) keep us posted!
yup... same vet. thats why i find it so wierd the receptionist would say that. i remember distinctly the vet saying that she recommends spaying but that baby is too old. because of the success of baby's surgery i really do trust this vet - at the very least to take pinky in for an initial exam and see if she encourages me to spay her. i sure as heck hope she does... she's the only vet in this city that's on ontariorabbits.org recommended vet list.
went to visit the buns again & got another pic of pinky love. she gave me some grunts & licked my nose
i've never had a REW, but i do love her. the more i look at her, the more beautiful she is! i like how her ears look kinda pink b/c of the thin white fur. Pinky is such a great name for her!
