I watch reruns of Law and Order SVU on the USA network in the evenings. USA is carrying the Westminster Kennel Club dog show this year, and the show is being sponsored by Pedigree dog foods, and Pedigree is running one of those shelter dog commercials alot. This one features a dog named Echo, who does not get adopted and has people walking past his kennel to meet a different dog. I know it is coming, but it gets me every time.
This has nothing to do with bunnies, but I think you'll understand....
We had a campaign here for abandon dogs, the shelters were over loaded and needed desperately to find homes for the dogs. They called it the 12 strays of x-mas, they had their pictures in the paper and they were wearing x-mas hats on their heads. It worked really well as all of the dog's found good homes, and I think others that were not in the campaign were also adopted.
