Yes, there are! I don't know how close you are to Tallahassee, but there's one here called TLC rabbit rescue. That's where we got our buns from.

Also, I'm pretty sure there's one in Gainesville, too, I remember seeing that when I was looking at getting a bun. I'll see if I can find what it's called...

I live in Viera and the closet rescue is Orlanda Rabbit rescue but that's still far.

Hi there is one in suntree you can find it on petfinder she has the bun cowboy who is very sweet.

I have a bun I would liek to find a home for as well he is cute brown with white nose. very calm gentle litterbox trained. I have 2 of my own I just saved this one from being eaten.

bunny house- Are you part of the Suntree/Viera Rescue? if so do you guys have room for 1 or 2 rabbits? Here's the story, i'll try to just do a short version.... A guy at work my hubby ran into has a rabbit that he got for his daughter and she doesn't take care of him so he asked Jon if he wanted the rabbit after hearing we had rabbits. He said he'll come with the cage and everything but if not he was just going to get ride of it saying he didn't want to drive to a shelter and was going to release it to the woods. This guy was supposed to give my husband his number but left before he got it. So I posted a thing on Craigslist to try and find the guy after Jon told me this. Well I got a lady email me saying that they have a rabbit they got for yet again their kids and they lost interest and wanted to know If I'd take her 2 year old doe. We did end up getting ahold of the first guy and told him we'll take in the rabbit, since he's bent on not wasting any effort with his rabbit, what a jerk anyways, he was supposed to call us back once he got home and hasn't called back ... so we are hoping that he'll call tommorow (crossing fingers for this bun bun's life).

So I am looking for a rescue or a new home for a Male rabbit (don't know any other info about him yet) and a 2 year old black dwarf doe with a good tempermant.

I would love to take them in, actually I told hubby down the road I want to start a rabbit rescue for our area. but with everything going on it's not fair for my family and other rabbits to spread myself too thin right now, if it was a couple months down the road it'd be one thing. But due to the guy going to realease his rabbit in the wild hubby and I agreed we'd make an exception for him to save his life so hopefully that guy isn't completly rotten lazy jerk and not even call back now that we said we'd take him. But I'd like to have a home or rescue willing to take these guys in if possible. Orlando Rabbit Rescue is already full.
