In line with Smile's photoshoot, I put the ribbon on Kibou (Lionhead female, 4 mo) and got some cute shots of the hairy fluffball!

what a cute little fluff ball!  i know they don't like drafts, but i can't help but to picture how lion heads / angoras would look if you blew on them   POOF

I like work. It fascinates me. I sit and look at it for hours.

Yeah, she is a Lionhead. She's Registered and I have her papers - no angoras in the family lines!
She does have awfully hairy ears, which my other Lionhead Yuuki does not have...
Oh well, it will shed out soon! She's nearing the 4-5 month mark, and that's when Yuuki started shedding out...!

I had a question about shedding out....For lionhead owners, do you all have lionheads that went to short body hair? Kahlua was born in July so she is about five months old, and aside from her 'bald spot' (a small area directly on her back, where the fur went from long to short) she is still super fluffy...Do you think she will stay a puffball? or do ya think she will 'shed out'?

I have to say, that fourth picture makes her look like a little emo kid.

Kokanee --> Kahlua will still shed out. My Yuuki boy was born in July also, and he had that bald spot for a long time and then honestly, in the last 2 weeks all his back hair is disappearing to reveal very dark, short hair.

I think she'll shed out...she just might take a bit more time...but when it happens, it's crazy fast!

my word, she is adorable, but I have to say I have a bunny the absolute image of her!!!!!! Does she have a brown/grey stripe on hr back?

I was told Milly was a lionhead and she looked exactly like Kibou at her age...then when her coat didn't shed but just grew and grew it turned out she has cashmere in her.

I shall have to post a picture of Milly.

Charlie82 - yes, she does have a grey stripe on her back I would love to see pics of Milly!

Thanks everyone
She wasn't the most willing model...hheheh...I had to bonk her on the nose a few times (it scares her into a pose!) and then snap the pic! haha...!

My Milly,  I'm trying to post more but it's hard enough to upload just two. I don't think she was as fluffy as your bunny at the age she is in the pics but the resemblence is uncanny! :-)
