Viktor Krum has been a real handful lately. His new interest is exploring the kitchen, especially since he sometimes finds krums (crumbs) on the floor to nibble we've had to fish him out of the snack cabinet twice now.
last night he goes dashing off to the kitchen and starts in the cabinet with cans, above it is a shelf with teas and coffee. the little hellion pulls down a can of cocoa and starts working at the lid!
we finally oust his bunny butt from the kitchen and he proceeds to jump on the forbidden coffee table three times!
anyone want to trade bunnies? |

he ATE his broomstick :-o
we were debating buying one of those roombas - they're the round self-vacuming things you see at Sharper Image - but we're sure Viktor would try to ride it! He's a hellion! |

I have a Roomba Red and it's wonderful for taking care of the stray hay in the kitchen. I have hay allergies and have to be very careful.
At first, Pepper hid behind the couch and thumped every time it came near. Then I left it on the floor turned off for a while, and she came up and thumped at it some more. Next time it was on she tried to stand it down a coupld of times and got bonked. Now she sort of looks at it in disgust and leaves the room. |

Yeah - she learned very quickly that staring down the Roomba doesn't really work. Now she just thumps a bit and then leaves the room.
It's OK on hay - it will just push around some of the longer pieces but I mostly need it for fur and hay-dust because of my allergies. I can sweep the bigger pieces if I have to. |

Wow! That's really cool that the Roomba picks up all those smaller particles that are so tough to sweep. I'll have to look into that! Thank you wendyzski! |

Wendyzski -
Does the Roomba pick up stray fecotropes? If so, I'd be VERY interested in getting one, since the competitive markings have gotten MUCH worse over here... |

It does just fine on the cocoapuffs! (though Pepper is ridiculously neat).
I got mine on E-bay - about $67 for the Roomba Red. It's not perfect - it tries to suck up the corner of the throw rug in the hallway sometimes, but I have a hand-vac for that and the odd places that seem to grow clouds of bunny-fur. But for day to day cleaning it's great. With my allergies, it's really a blessing to be able to set it down and leave the room, so I don't have to suck up the hay-dust myself. |

"Mom decided to buy a ghetto-cordless hand vac at the store after work today, since I chewed through her last vacuum's cord. Thanks for the help! Now, off to go poop it up..." |
