I have a Mini Rex and I just noticed this lump on the side of her body. I’m still searching for a vet at the moment, but I was hoping someone could tell me what it possibly is! I’m worried ?

Is it possible for you to post a photo? How large is it? Where exactly is it located? Is it hard to the touch, or kinda squishy?

I fixed your image for you.

It’s hard to see detail, but the hole in the middle looks suspiciously like a bot breathing hole (i.e. fly strike). Is it a hole with clean edges? Otherwise, if it’s scabbed over, then it could be an abscess or tumor that ruptured.

Either way, your bun needs to have that looked at. Neither condition is treatable at home.

Im concerned it could be bot fly warble also. https://www.houserabbitga.com/rabbit-risk-outdoor-flies

I hope you’ve been able to find a vet. {{{Vibes}}} for your little bun.
