        Hello again friends!

As I am a first time bunny owner (soon to be, she comes Thursday!! ahh!), I am full of questions. Sorry in advance…

I currently live with my parents for health reasons, but I have my own room to myself. I have her x-pen set up in there. It’s very big, litter box, a rug underneath with fleece and toys galore. Bunny heaven. This is what I want to be her HOME. Sleeping with me, in my room while I’m doing work.

I have the whole front living room blocked off as well with baby gates (parents have dogs/cats), so she has her own space to run and play around SUPERVISED, of course.

Is it pointless to bring a litter box out there during play time? Will she even use it? I for sure want her to be litter trained in her personal pen in my room, but it would be nice if she used the litter box anywhere. LOL

I also have a small pen I can put in the front room so she can be out with me in the living room. She LOVES being with her people, I’m told. I could put a litter box in there as well. But, would she be confused as to having two different pens? Two different litter boxes?

        Any thoughts are appreciated.

Hello Shelby! CONGRATS ON YOUR NEW FUR BABY! SO excited for you! As for your questions:

Taking a litter box out with her while she plays is actually an excellent idea. That way she will understand that the litter box is the only place she is allowed to go and she won’t get confused with “in here she is supposed to use the litter box but with other places she doesn’t” and all the other messy business. Two different pens shouldn’t be any problem at all as far as I know but you might want a second opinion. Two different litter boxes? No sweat. My four have six and never get confused. They know where the boxes are and it’s actually a good thing to have more than one because that way they won’t get lazy because there isn’t one near.

Good luck with your new bun! You’re gonna do great! Post pictures when you get her!

Veggies should be introduced at around 12 weeks so if she’s younger, no need for them yet Make sure when you do introduce veggies, you do it very slowly to avoid tummy upset.

              Looking forward to the photos

                She’s definitely older than 12 weeks, I’d guess about 5 months! They aren’t sure 100% cause she’s a rescue but she’s “young”

                TOMORROW IS THE DAY!
