So after all these years I’m now Vegan, bit unsure about things at the moment because not all vegan foods are gluten free, if anyone has anyone has any recipes or know where I can get advice, could you let me know please?

Oh and if you know what cosmetics and shower gels and household products are cruelty free, could you let me know please?

Why people want to test perfume on a bunny or a monkey to tell me not to drink it I’ll never know, I don’t need the lab test results of a rabbit or monkey, to tell me not to drink perfume, their skin etc is different to ours, common sense tells me not to drink perfume

I’m Gluten intolerant but not vegan. I do cook a lot of vegan meals though. In stir fry and asian dishes I use Konjac noodles, they are made from a root vegetable. http://foodwatch.com.au/reviews/item/product-review.html
There are many good sites with gf vegan recipes, most mexican dishes are wheat free. You can by masa (corn meal) to make pupusas and tortillas. You can fill the pupusas with vegan cheese or a spocy refried bean mix. Recipe for pupusas/arepas or flat breads is 2 cups of water to 1 1/2 cups of masa, for arepas you use oil instead of water.

Jamie Oliver has a great recipe for a pumpkin, spinach and chickpea curry. I’ll see if I can find it.

Cosmetic products available would depend on where you live. I know all the Australian ones.

Models Own and Barry M are cruelty free cosmetics. Would you be interested in cruelty free nail polishes? I know of quite a few brands as I only use cruelty free myself

Here is an alphabetical list of cruelty free products that have earned the Leaping Bunny seal of approval. Not all of these brands are sold in all countries, but hopefully it is helpful.

                  http://www.leapingbunny.org/guide/brands

When you are in stores, you can also check the product packages, or the label may be shown online. Some brands have not earned the Leaping Bunny approval, but they will state that they are not tested on animals, are vegan products, etc.

                      – China Glaze & Seche (both are owned by by American International Industries and they are cruelty free. All nail polishes are vegan, although some of their top/base coats aren’t vegan. The ridge filler base I know is vegan)
                      – Zoya (cruelty free and vegan)
                      – Butter London (cruelty free, although last time I checked there was 2 nail polishes that weren’t vegan. I *think* they were called Corr Blimey and Dahling. Rest are vegan)
                      – Illamasqua (cruelty free, unsure of vegan status)
                      – Barry M (cruelty free, some of the make up isn’t vegan but nail polishes are)
                      – Models Own (same as above )
                      – Nails Inc (cruelty free and vegan except the caviar polishes)

                      – Leighton Denny (cruelty free and vegan)

Indie brands are usually cruelty free and vegan. You’re in the UK aren’t you? I recommend ‘Ard as Nails   A England is also cruelty free and vegan.

Superdrug’s own brand is cruelty free. I use a lot of their products!

You might have some luck with Sainsbury’s “Free from” range. If looking for cheese alternatives, Ive heard good things about their vegan cheese (aka Gary!)

A good reference site: This is search I did for GF foods on that site.

Subscription boxes might be a good way to try different products also.

Below is excerpt from that site.

Are your products suitable for people with allergies?

Gluten Free options are available on the Ultimate subscription box and the Selection single box. Our boxes and products may not be suitable for people with allergies, as they may contain minute traces of allergens so please always check the allergy advice on packaging if you have allergies. Please contact us for more information before ordering.

This site has some GF, vegan recipes. I noticed a recipe that had oats so it you’re highly sensitve, you’d have to look for certified GF oats.

I’ve just switched all my products to cruelty free recently. I use Superdrug for my shampoo and Barry m for cosmetics. I also get my washing up liquid from Aldi as they have just recently added the leaping bunny logo. As for other household products if you look for anything by astonish all their stuff is cruelty free, you can usually get them in the pound stores and b and m (that’s if your in the U.K.)

Jerseygirl, tried the cheese, oh it is wonderful, big Sainsburys are the best, Tesco isn’t so good on the vegan and gluten free side.
