  Buy a dowel and you can use cardboard boxes with holes cut in them to hold it up! Dowels are really light, and cheap.

  DIY for sure! I’ve seen ones like these around with paper towel/toilet paper rolls and sticks or dowels. You could probably use plastic straws, too. Even better since they’re light and it won’t matter if they run into them.

  Ooh, I saw some instructional Youtube videos about this the other day. I can’t remember which ones I watched though. You could probably find them easily, though. The gist of it was that you wanted to make little notched attachments to each pole where the crossbeams could rest, but still be easily knocked away when/if a bunny hits them. So slightly concave at the top of each.

  These wouldn’t be safe to chew on, I don’t think, but you wouldn’t want the bunny chewing up your hard work anyway, right? I’ve been thinking of making some of these to help my adolescent bunny expend some of her excessive energy! Plus there’s the obvious cute factor

  PVC pipes and connectors are a great option, if you attach “T” pieces up the sides you can cut the sideways piece of the “T” piece in half to form a shallow cup to rest the pole on, then it falls off which is safer than having it permanently fixed in place if bunny trips on it. You can also just get a few pieces of timber and some wooden dowel and attach some shallow half circles on the timber supports too.

  No, I ended up using that weekend to make bunny cookies instead Always the bunny slave… Next time I go to the hardware store I am doing this though! I’ll post pics when I do
