Is it constant drooping, or sometimes it happens to do this? If the latter, can you describe some scenarios you see it happen?

Additionally, can you add any information about weird behavior, such as being lethargic, not eating as much, pooping little, etc.?

I’ve read that some rabbits will perk one ear up with the other resting back if they’re listening to something but not concerned or interested enough to be fully alert. Fernando does this sometimes, usually when he’s in a bunloaf or his favorite sitting posture. @Bk17: Is your bunny’s ear drooping down the side of his head or is it resting along the back of his head/neck? Does he appear to be listening to anything with his other (upright) ear?

Could he have a lop gene? lop buns are not born with loppy ears. Their ears lop as they grow up due to a genetically encoded weakness in the cartilage or muscle at the base of the ears (I don’t remember now if it’s cartilage or muscle).

Some buns have helicopter ears. That’s one ear up and one down. It’s super-cute!

My up-eared bunny Yohio once got one droopy ear after a fight with my other bun. There were no wounds or other visible damage and he wasn’t tender to the touch, but the boys had had a scuffle so I think it was an minor injury. The droopy ear went up again after 5 days or so.

If your bun is acting normal, eating and drinking, hopping around like he should and toiletting as he should, I don’t think this is something you need to worry about.
