so today i took my rabbit out of the cage so i could clean it and she was doing just fine running and messing around with my cats i went down stairs to clean the cage and after finishing cleaning the cage i went to take her but i noticed she was sat down with her left back leg a little out she was sitting like on the side and the pressure was on the right side of her body i tried pushing her to walk but she didn’t and then i tried again and she walked but without using her left leg she literally dragged her leg behind her now she’s in the cage and she stopped dragging her leg but she’s still not moving it like she’s pulling it up and moving what could be wronf with her i’m extremely worried and it’s currently 2 am all of this happened at 12 am so i have to wait until tomorrow to take her to the vet she’s also not eating or drinking water and my mom scared me even more by saying maybe she got paralyzed and won’t be able to walk forever please i’m help me or tell me things i could do to help her

There isn’t much you can do until you get her to the vet, except keeping her in a confined area so she doesn’t hurt herself further.

Did you feel her leg? Broken bones? Dislocations? From what you’re describing, it sounds like an injury. Could she have fallen?

i did feel her legs and it doesn’t look like she has any broken bones or dislocated bones it’s probably an injury just like you said but still i panicked because she wasn’t moving her leg she’s eating now which is good but i’m still worried

That’s good that she is eating. If she were in severe pain (ie. broken leg), she probably wouldn’t be eating, so hopefully it is a lesser injury. When Luna was younger, she caught her front leg in between the bars of her cage when she was jumping out and wouldn’t put her weight on it for a few hours. I took her to the vet the next day just in case, and her leg ending up being just sore thank goodness (I guess kind of like when you roll your ankle?). I think she will be ok , but it would be good to call the vet when the office opens. They will be able to assess (via physical exam or x-ray) whether or not there is something wrong with her leg.
