Hi, My rabbit has never really been in contact with any other rabbits since he was for sale at the pet shop. However he has been in contact with my two little yorkies. My friend also has a male rabbit and we were thinking about getting them together to play. Neither of our rabbits are neautered- my vet said there was no need to neauter my rabbit unless he started acting crazy, but I still wanted to make sure the rabbits will be okay to play together. Any advice?

No. Unbonded rabbits should not be put together.

Absolutely not ok. They very well may fight, and it’s known that males may try to bite the other’s genitals during a fight. Not a good idea at all.

Definitely do not put your rabbit with your friend’s rabbit. Rabbits should only be together if they are spayed or neutered and have gone through the bonding process. You are risking severe injuries if you try to put them together. Also, when rabbits are spayed/neutered and properly bonded, they should remain together. You can’t just let rabbits have occasional play dates, then separate them at other times.

I third that. And honestly, he should be neutered for various reasons.
