        Hello,
My bunny Muffin is a pretty convincing bunny. She gives me the ‘cute, innocent eyes’ when I’m eating something she wants…
But this morning she ‘pranked’ me. I came into the room her cage is in and at first I couldn’t see her. I looked more closely and I saw her. She was lying on her side, it looked as if she wasn’t breathing (her fur is the same colour as the straw) and her eyes were open staring at the ceiling. I thought she had died and I started shaking

until I opened the door and she got up and came to greet me as normal. She had flopped and stayed on her side for a while. Muffin’s face looked very proud

Mine do this sometimes too. I think they enjoy making us worried

Wooly does this all the time. He sleeps flopped on his side with his eyes wide open. The creepiest part? When he dreams, he starts to twitch in his sleep. Combine that with his blank stare and it scares the crap out of anyone seeing it for the first time.

Chewie fell asleep with his cheek in the palm of my hand last night – I was petting his cheeks when he flopped – and started dreaming. So I had this twitchy tickly bun’s head in my hand, his feet digging at my wrist as he’s “running”, long enough for my arm to fall asleep, when he suddenly gets up super casual as if nothing happened.

Mine do that to me a lot!

Maggie I never see do an actual flop, but then I look at her and she is stretched out, eyes shut, like a lot of dead rabbits I have seen in the wild.

Terry I just watched throw himself on the ground, get back up, and do it again. Like once wasn’t enough!
