  Can anyone offer me any advice i feel i have made a rookey error which may have destroyed my rabbits bond forever ?. I have 2 mini lops that are approx 6 months old they are from the same litter 1 male and 1 female and have both been fixed. They have always been so lovely togeather grooming each other always huddled up and playing with each other etc etc. Anyway my friend needed someone to care for her rabbit for a week whilst they are away and i merrily volunteered as have a spare hutch in the garden. So the first day i had my friends rabbit in the large run and my 2 roaming the garden and they did not bat an eye lid at my friends bun. So i thought great ill do it again the following day however they started to pay a bit more inferest so i was watching them and then next i know my 2 buns are in a full blown scrap!! I seperate them and ring the vet who advises keep my friends bun out of site and keep mine in view of each other but seperate so they cannot attack and then re try them. I did this and tried again a few hours later but my boy went for rosie almost immediatly and i had to seperate again. I am so gutted and really really sad. Is that it will i never be able to rebond them i feel so guilty as after reading on here i now realise i should never alloud them to get close to my frifnds rabbit. My buns are nomally so laid back especially my boy i just ndver realised this could happen. Any advise greatly appreciated.

  Don’t fret just yet! Sometimes the wiff of a new rabbit triggers a fall out but that doesn’t mean they can’t be friends again.
  
  Try keeping them separate for a few days – actually, did they full on fight? I would separate them out of each other’s sight for a few weeks and then try bonding them again. How easy were they to bond originally?
