Beautiful lionhead, new zealand, and flemmish rabbits are going to be killed today unless I do something about this lady who wants to sell them for meat. Is there anything I could do, for example, some sort of law that could stop her?

If she is meeting local regulations, then unfortunately no. You could purchase the rabbits, but there will be more to take their place. If you feel this person is not in compliance with local regulations, you could contact the local health department, animal control, ASPCA, or whoever is in charge of inspecting such operations.

Unfortunately, people will use this as a tactic to sell their rabbits quicker. But we can never know if they really intent to sell them as meat or not…
And of course, they could be genuinely selling them as a stock animal, which isn’t against the law.
