It’s never been a problem before, but my bunnies urine has started to really stink since their neuters. My bedroom smells like a barnyard. Any suggestions for getting the stench out of the blankets they play on?

White vinegar. You can pre-treat the problem areas, and/or add it to your wash.

I also use Nature’s Miracle on my carpets, seems to work well. I just block the area from the buns while it dries.

Putting a splash (tiny tiny tiny amount) of apple cider vinegar in their water eliminates the urine smell. Get apple cider vinegar with the mother.

Just wash the blankets as needed with some white vinegar. Are you washing them right away or leaving dirty blankets down?

I wash them every night and then lay them back down when they come out the following evening.

Hormone spike. They were neutered less than a month ago so their bodies are working on flushing their hormones For a month or two after buns are neutered, their pee can smell horrible due to the hormone shift.
