The last time I saw Freddy was last night and he was just fine, ate all his greens, very happy bunny. This morning he didn’t come out to wake me up or see me out the door, but sometimes he sleeps in, so I didn’t worry. I got home late tonight, finally went into my/his room at around 2 AM, and cleaned his litter box, the whole time I’ve been in the room, he hasn’t come out to investigate. He finally came out from under my bed (where he likes to stay because it’s cool) and just watched me. I laid on the floor with him and started petting his head since he wouldn’t come to me. He immediately closed his eyes and looked so tired, he usually is very active at this time (we’ve always had a weird schedule). I got on my bed, but he didn’t get up there with me, so I gave him his salad (Kale and Cilantro), but he didn’t even touch it, same with his favorite treats (craisins). I then realized his stomach was making very loud gurgling noises. I got so scared because I’ve read about stasis, so I looked it up and decided to try to keep him warm on my bed with me. I picked him up and put him on the bed with me and that just made him mad and he jumped off right away and went right back under the bed, where it’s cold. I’m so worried about him. He doesn’t need to be cold right now. I also thought I could feel him slightly shivering when I laid my hand on his back. He won’t come out from under the bed. Please help me, I’m already terrified. I’ve had to spend so much money this past week, it’s gonna kill me to go to the vet, but I don’t want him dead either.

OF COURSE right after I post this, he starts eating his salad and craisins.

Lol, well at least he’s ok . Stasis is always a concern, but in this instance it sounds like he just had a little gas. Unflavored baby gas drops (simethicone) are good to keep on hand in such cases.

He’s absolutely back to normal this morning, running around, eating like crazy, looking for stuff to destroy lol I’ll look for some of those drops though, thank you!
