Hi – new to the forum. I recently adopted a dwarf bunny and I have noticed that every so often there is a grey/silvery spot on his right eye. It can be oval or cicle shaped and is only present some of the time. Most of the time it’s not there though. I’m beginning to think it could be a tick but not too sure. I’ve attached a few images if anyone has some sort of indication thanks

Sorry, it’s sort of hard to tell in this picture. Is that attached? Or does it come off? If it comes off, then it is likely a glob that forms when the eye is irritated. They usually dislodge and will move around on the eyeball until they are wiped off. Otherwise, you could be looking at this third eyelid protruding.

Looks like what my Mini Rex used to get all the time. Like a glob of eye boogers and hair. I would take a wet Qtip and gently wipe it away. If that’s what it is it should slide off very easily. Or you could use some contact rinse saline (make sure it’s 100% saline only) and see if you can flush it out.

That was my first thought too LPT. I’m just going by the shape and coloring.

that looks like that extra eye lid bunnies have….I had that happen with Rookie when I first had him and the vet showed it to me that that is what it is.
