We were told that Ari (pictured below) is a purebreed lionhead rabbit from her breeders. Clearly, she doesn’t look like a baby lionhead. We were showed the pictures of her parent’s, and sure enough, they looked like lionheads. Her brothers and sisters came in black, tan, and Californian like her. She doesnt look like a lionhead though. Help? (She is a month old)

She looks like Netherland Dwarf or a Mini Rex. One month? That’s way too young for him/her to be away from it’s mommy.

That breeder is either intentionally lying or does not know how to care for rabbits. One month is much too young to be separated. The minimum is two months.

In terms of the breed, I’m unsure… Very young, so the features may become more prominent in the coming weeks.

Get your rabbit examined by an experienced exotic vet as soon as you can so you can get a more accurate and comprehensive examination of your new bunbun’s health.

How big is she? Her fur pattern with those red eyes are common in one of the giant breeds; I cant remember which at the moment. California Rabbit, maybe? Far, far from a dwarf either way…

Is she’s small-ish, then likely Himalayan.
