My bunny Roger has been acting strange. He seems more timid and doesn’t move around like the usual. I don’t know if he’s limping or not, but he just stays in one spot and keeps waving his right front paw. He also just walks slowly instead of hopping. He still eats and drinks but he doesn’t poop much and only poops the soft kind and not the usual hard kind. The other day, I had to wash his bum because it was so messy and dry bath doesn’t work, but since then, he started acting like this. And even though I washed his bum recently, yesterday, I saw that his bum is once again covered in poop that hardened. I don’t know what to do, I’m not sure if I should wash it again or not.. and I’m also not sure if he sprained his front paw or not.

If he’s not producing poop, he needs to be seen by a vet. His paw problem does indicate a sprain or a break. He could be in pain. Rabbits very often gets tummy problems when something else is wrong with them, like a hurt and painful body part. A vet can give him pain meds and perhaps fluids to get his gut going again. They can also feel his foot for broken bones or x-ray it. If he holds up his paw and it’s just dangling, you should stabilize it with a bandage, not too tight, but so it can’t dangle.

You should wash his butt if it’s really dirty, but first of all i think you should call a vet, describe his problem and take him in if they want to see him.
