Do any other buns play with baby stacking cups? Recently my bun lost interest in them, but she used to LOVE unstacking them and chucking them around… So recently I’ve taken to putting a few treats in between cups and of course she is VERY interested then.  So by accident I have discovered the funniest little thing she does!! I put some banana slices or dried cranberries in between the stacked cups and let her go at it. She gets super excited, grabs the rim of the cup and flips it up with all her might, accidentally flinging herself completely backwards and falling over  Is there a way to post videos here? It’s so silly!! What silly things do your bunnies do?

Chewie tries to climb up toward the wall-mounted TV whenever he hears Chewbacca in any of the Star Wars movies (hence his name).

Aw thanks Oakley is named that because his parents have wood related names – and oakleys colour matched the name too

Boston is named that because of his colour matching the Boston bun

BunNoob, you can put up a video on Google Drive (or YouTube) and link to it. We’d love to see your bun and the stacking cups!

I was reading on the sofa and Chewie fell asleep with his booplesnoot shoved behind my ear (he was lounging on the footstool right beside my head). He must’ve started dreaming because all of a sudden he started twitching his whiskers something fierce. I tried to resist the tickles but failed and when I burst out laughing, the poor little guy jumped like a piece of popped corn. LOL

Q8 ?? I cannot resist the tickles either and I feel so bad when a sudden chuckle causes a brief little bun panic!

I’m not too good with technology lol but I will get a video of her next time and try to upload it to a google drive!

Yumi knows not to do certain things in my house. That does not stop her doing it though.

However, she likes to warn me when she’s about to do something bold, by stamping her feet and grunting….kinda counter productive to her mischief !!

Asriel is constantly periscoping. I feel like he’s trying to look for trouble. Now he jumps on his cage too.
Bombur will dig into the hay or oats and attempt to eat so much that he falls over on his back and looks confused then comes for cuddles. He got the name Bombur because he eats a lot like the dwarf Bombur from the Hobbit.

That is an awesome name!! I thought about naming my mini lop a hobbit name because he’s mini! I am building them a hutch that I’m thinking of naming “hoppiton” as a play off hobbiton hehe

@dface Ophelia, my dutch, likes to stare at me before she starts digging or chewing up the carpet so I know she’s doing it. But she’s usually pretty good at stopping when she hears a loud “EYY!!” lol

                                        Cute thread !

Jersey also would go for leather things. She musta liked the taste.  She also thought tuna smelt great. And she used to lick the fire poker.

But this is the first thing I thought of when I think of quirks.  Gooseman hanging his butt off things.  Pics from first time I saw him doing this.  I havent seen him do it recently, but he also uses a ramp to sit on and hang his butt over the end.

I always wondered if Bombur was named after the dwarf!

Terry loves playing “pass” with his toy tractor. We sit there and push it to him and he throws it back. He now loves it to the point where he threw the tractir at my husband walking past him recently. He also loves playing on my husband’s skateboard.

Maggie just loves sleeping. Preferably on a lap. Nevermind that she is overheating, you aren’t allowed to move her! 😮

This thread is hilarious! Breintje has this quirk where he goes crazy if he smells ripe fruit. He’ll climb up onto people to chase it. As shy as he is, he usually doesn’t approach our guests until they’ve been visiting here often. Unless they’re eating fruit: he’ll climb all over them, even onto people he barely knows.
A friend of mine is also a great bunny lover. Breintje actually stood on her face when she was eating a banana. She already planned to share it with him and lay down on the floor to eat it together, but he thought he wasn’t close enough yet and climbed onto her forehead

Here’s Breintje stealing fruit right out of my BF’s mouth:

My Daryl love his cardboard boxes but the holes I put in for him are never up to his standard so he’s taken to doing his own home improvements and making the holes how he wants them and also lining them up with his tunnels. He also creates little neat piles of the cardboard he has chewed off. More recently he has chewed a small hole in the bottom right corner so he can poke his feet out And lie diagonally inside it. This so far has been the best thing I have ever seen him do. It is very very cute

Boston has a few as he really isn’t a bunny I’m sure.
I’ve had a few – and he is so different. I’m sure his parents were rutt and tuke on brother bear and he is closely related to ed on lion king, and distant relative of pumba . I’d bet money on it.
He is clumsy and rough – like a toddler who hasn’t found his footing yet. He is cuddly and needy.
He’s our goofball wrapped in the sweetest soft toy outter.

He sleeps in a cat bed – hates hideaways
He has to get as close as he can to me to sleep – preferably in my arms flopped out.
He looks for me in such a super eager way and starts circling like a wee puppy in anticipation to me approaching.
You know how they say “rabbits are not cuddly toys for kids” well boston makes that look like a lie. A teddy bears life would be his perfect world.
He flops out on his teddy hea like a child cuddles their soft toy and snuggles in his blankets like a baby with his blankie.

@ OBM OH MY GOODNESS, BOSTON IS TOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! What a sweet little fluff!!!

@Ellie That’s too funny! Once I dropped a banana on the floor (still in peel) and bun ran over, grabbed it by the stalk and tried running off with it! XD I say tried, because she is still so little and she just kept dropping it, but was determined to get away with it! Bananas= bunny crack!

@Georgie You may have gotten a rabbit with a dog personality haha XD At least you know she’s elated to see you!

@Eddy …..ok, where do I start here? LOL Daryl seems like quite the character! How funny to stroll by and just see those paws poking out! And perhaps more hilarious to think he is just sitting in there staring at the corner

I tried to get a video of Ophelia flipping herself with the cups, though she seems to know when I’m filming and doesn’t want to embarrass herself! XD I know that if I give it a few days of no fruit, she’ll be back to freaking out for it!

My new bun, Quincy, is a mini lop. When I go into the bedroom I know where I can usually find him.. Sitting in his cage staring at his bowl as if he will magically make pellets appear!! It is so cute, but at the same time with those floppy ears he looks so sad!!

I loved hearing about all the shenanigans your buns do. Keep it coming!!

My sister has an herb garden so Ophelia gets tons of fresh herbs, but none rival the response elicited by fresh basil!! I have yet to come across an herb that she won’t eat. We haven’t tried dill yet, some buns like it I’ve heard. But when my sister’s plants are overgrown, Ophelia gets my famous 9 herb garden salad LOL. Basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano, cilantro, parsley, mint, and lavender mixed in with some romaine lettuce, red leaf lettuce and green bell pepper. Now that’s what we call fine dining

I have to chop up the romaine lettuce or she will try to shred up the whole leaf in one bite She doesn’t like tile at all!! But that doesn’t stop her from coming to bother me while I’m cooking -.- I should have never given her little bits of veggies while I was cooking for us, now she just sits at my feet when I’m cooking, begging!! But, if she is spooked by any little noise, she tries running away but slips all over the floor the first few steps it’s like she’s running in place lol !!
