        Good afternoon all!

I have been browsing Binkybunny forums for a few weeks now, I found this site just after I got my Flemish Giant bunny (Oki). Oki is about 13 weeks old now and the sweetest rabbit I have ever owned. He is the first house rabbit that I have enjoyed this much and the only rabbit I have been around that is as friendly as he is and wants human attention like he does. He will literally climb out of his hutch to get to me and will come hopping across the room to get to petted.

Anyhoo, I have been searching for a low cost neuter clinic near me but have yet to find one and by near me I would be willing to drive a few hours to the right clinic. I have tried to search the forums here and Google but the lowest price I have found is $150 which I would be willing to pay but I didn’t know if anyone know of any that might be a little easier on the pockets. I have seen others post that they have neuter clinics near them that will do it for as low as $40… I am in Fredericksburg Virginia, so if anyone is in the state of Virginia and knows of a clinic that is open please let me know.

        Thanks!

It might be worth asking local rabbit rescues for recommendations. Many use vets who do low-cost neuters, or hold lower cost neuter clinics occasionally. Do be careful not to sacrifice quality of care for price-it is essential that your vet is rabbit savvy. Good Luck!

You may have already seen these, but here are vet listings for Virginia and surrounding areas from 3 rescues. There is one low cost clinic listed in rabbitsinthehouse.org, but you need to get a voucher. Maybe one of the other vets might charge less than what you were quoted. You could also contact these rescues to ask if they know of any low cost clinics.
