Hi everyone! I’m new to the forums, obviously, and also new to bunnies. This is my baby Thumper–she’s a nine week old lionhead. 🙂 She’s a big ball of fluff. Only had her for two days now and she really likes to hide under furniture. I lay on the floor and peek underneath the couch to make sure she’s okay and she likes to crawl up to me that way, when she feels protected. Otherwise she’s still getting used to us of course. She’s the cutest when she nibbles on lettuce and she’ll come up to me only when I’ve got pellets for her. I’m so excited to get to know her and love her! My boyfriend and I are also getting an 8 week old holland lop this weekend, so it will be an interesting few months waiting until they’re old enough to be fixed and then eventually (hopefully) bonded.

And introducing…Baxter! The shy, but cute as a button, eight week old holland lop (who never lets me get a good picture of him ).

He has taken more time to get used to us than Thumper, but we’ve only had him for 3 1/2 days and he’s already made so much progress. Thumper has too! She will climb over me and sniff my face and lick my hands. She still doesn’t like being pet too much yet, but she seems super affectionate, so I hope she just needs a little more time until she begs for pets

              Here she is:

I love them so much already. They’ve stolen my heart in just a short time! It’s so awesome to watch them get more comfortable every single day and to see them binky (finally)

                They’re both so sweet!

And this post answers my question from your other post re: their ages. Now, this is not the norm by any means, BUT buns can and have been capable of breeding at 2-3 months of age. The smaller the breed, the earlier the possibility. So just something to keep an eye on.

So cute! I love that pic where they are staring at the cord in the wall…thinking “How do we get to it so we can chew it”

Yes!! Baxter loves to nibble on everything. He loses interest after a second or so though, so he hasn’t been too much trouble yet. 🙂

Awwwwwwwwww! They are both incredibly cute <3 I have the Grease song in my head "They go tooogether!!!!" lol

It’s a shame they’ll have to be separated soon, but after spay/neuter recovery I’m sure they’ll be able to bond again

Hahaha! They’re inseparable at the moment so i hope once they’re altered it will be just as easy for them to get back to being best buddies.
