Our five year old (ish) bunny has been through a lot lately….he has had anesthesia three time since March because of needing back molar trims for molars that are over growing, been neutered and we moved. He hasn’t been his usual happy bunny self understandably.
We have one get away planned this summer so far for two nights in a rustic cabin about an hour away. Does anyone have any suggestions as to whether to bring him with us to the cabin or have him here alone for a couple days with my mom checking in feed him and make sure he is ok?
I don’t want the poor little guy to think we are moving again but am thinking it might be good for him to be with us and have people around.
The road to the camp resort is gravel some of the ways.
He is free roaming in our home (although he doesn’t do much and sticks to one area) and I have a six paneled enclosure I can bring to the cabin so he has his own safe space.
Any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated.

Hey, aw, he’s been through lots recently. I’d say keep him home with your mom to care for him, since it’s only 2 days. He will be happier in his own surroundings. I don’t think it’s worth uprooting him for just 2 days.
