My rabbits are (I think) 5 months old, roughly.. (sister bought them from an Amish couple and didn’t know much before she passed them on to me). We think they were born in February but can’t be sure. I am wondering when it is ok to give them vegetables? I’ve read that you shouldn’t give them any until they are 6 months but I’ve also heard they should already have them in their diet by now?? I give them timothy hay and also the pellets made for young rabbits but I feel like they need to be expanding their diet. Any help would be great!

You can start feeding veggies when they are 12 weeks of age. (3 months). Just start with a small bit of a leafy green like lettuce and slowly work up to 1 cup per 3-4 pounds of rabbit. Feeding Timothy hay is good since it makes their gut nice and strong so there’s not as big of risk or runny poop.
