I own a New Zeland white and was wondering how much should she weigh around 3 months old ? Also keep in mind I am not raising her for meat I could never ! Love my bunny. She is around 3 pounds right now. Is that too fat ?? Or too light??

Female new zelands will get to around 12 pounds full grown. My last bun Hiro was a new zeland black with some marbling. I want to say at 3 months she was about 3-4 pounds as she was supposed to be a fair rabbit ( I didn’t sell though…. She was too cute and cuddly). They are supposed to weigh more than regular rabbits because of their meat background and the reasoning behind the breed. They have a larger muscle mass than other rabbits. I hope this gives you some sort of answer to your question.

It did quite a lot thank you very much. Only other thing that concerns me is that I give her pellets that last till night in which I don’t refill till morning is that ok ? Also was wondering if Timothy hay mixed with some alfalfa hay is alright.
