A little backstory on Alice. She was rescued from a “breeder” by the local humane society. She is 7 months old and has been adopted and returned 3 times. Twice by people who had other rabbits, and the last time by a family with 3 kids under 8. She was running, jumping, and playing yesterday, but then kept trying to get behind my barricade. She succeeded. There’s nothing back there, but she’s just lying there with her nose in the corner. Eating and drinking fine. I also just adopted her on Saturday (3 days ago). She won’t let me touch her yet, but that was to be expected. Is she ok??

Yes, my bunny did that too. At first, I thought my bunny was “defective” because she would just stare at things, but then I realized she was just listening to everything around her. Let her do her own thing, just make sure she is eating, drinking, and making “waste” regularly. Make sure she’s also in a bunny proof area ^^
          That’s all I can say.

Thank you! I actually just took down the barricades and she is out acting “normal” again aside from periodically trying to get in the one restricted area. I had them up because I didn’t want her to leave me any “presents” back there. She was a little irritated this morning when I changed her water bowl and gave her more timothy hay, I was almost scared she would bite me. I read up on that, though, and I’m going to I guess find a way to do this because I don’t have time in the morning to let her out (wait for her to go back in, really) to change it. I’m just nervous that with her past that she won’t get used to me, but I know it’s going to take time. I’m just impatient, I guess

Don’t be afraid of her biting you, rabbits will usually never bite. She will lunge at you and scratch you before she will bite you. Make sure you make a good schedule for Alice. Rabbits are animals of habit and will become very grumpy if you change stuff around. Be patient with her, though. Rocket took quite a while to even let me look at her XD
