So after 2 years of feeding lux Timothy hay everyday I just find out I have a huge allergy to Timothy hay and that could be causing my constant congestion and post nasal drip. What else can I give her besides Timothy hay. It oat hay ok? I know I have to do it gradually but I’m wondering if that will help a lot of my problems since every night I give it to her and during the day and Inhale the dust when I open the bag. Never giving away my bun bun but I also wanna feel better.

Any other grass hay is fine, so yes oat hay is fine Also, with hays, unlike other foods, you don’t need to do a slow transition.

I’m sorry to hear you’re allergic, Xxxventanaxx. I’m allergic too to timothy hay, it makes me cough endlessly. So my Bam gets oat hay and orchard. He prefers oat hay. As Sarah also says, no transition is needed with grass hays. You can get rid of all the timothy right away. I hope it will soon make you feel better!

Yeah I sure hope it helps. I had acid reflux that made me get drip but I got it under control and the last two years since I’ve been giving lux Timothy hay I still have constant drip and coughing. I inhale the damn dust everyday. I hope it makes me feel better. My allergist said since I moved to Tampa they have more Timothy grass out here and the hotter it is it makes the symptoms worse. I’m so excited to see if this helps!!!
