This is a little quirk of Peanut’s but I thought I’d query it – when I top the bun’s hay up, Peanut will often just lick at the bag. It’s one of those hay sacks from thehayexperts.co.uk (so not plastic!) But he does it quite thoroughly sometimes! Is he trying to tell me something? Is he possibly deficient in something?

Doubt it. He might just enjoy the texture of the hay bag on his tongue. Or maybe it’s covered in microscopic hay dust/pollen that tastes good to him.

Or maybe he’s showing the hay bag some love because the hay bag feeds him?

Aw, the little weirdo. He also licks his chew toys!
