        Hi guys~

I’m new to the whole bunny world. We got an adorable dwarf bunny 3 days ago and I already couldn’t live without him!
When we first brought him home he was super scared but he got used to us very quickly (probably cause he gets cuddles multiple times a day).

He does this thing when I have him on my lap in the couch though, either after I stop petting him after a while or if he seemingly has had enough and starts to move around: he crawls up on my chest to headbutt my face. It’s just a little nudge and it strikes me as a sign of affection but I’d rather make sure. After all, nothing’s more frustrating than trying to tell someone something and them misunderstanding you!

It’s a bunny kiss! They are highly coveted and a sure sign your bun is in love with you. My baby girl ‘kisses’ me on the mouth. It is SO precious.

Head butts in general are typically affectionate. Sometimes they mean “get out of the way” or can be a sign of irritation. As you get used to your bunny’s temperament and unique personality, you will be able to tell the kiss from the irritated nudge. All 3 of my buns also dig somewhat aggressively when they are irritated, so nudge+digging is usually a sign of annoyance.
