I got him 2 weeks ago to hopefully bond with my bunny Theo once I get him neutered. Can anyone estimate his age? The person I bought him from said 8 weeks but I’m not so sure. Do you think he might be crossed between a lop and angora? He’s much fluffier than Theo.

He looks a bit like a guinea pig to me

When I first brought him home, after a couple of days of leaving him alone, he did this nudging thing where he’d stick his head up straight in the air and push my hand when I tried to stroke him. Kinda telling me to get lost? He doesn’t do it now and seems relaxed around me and stretches his legs out when I pet him. I wonder what his personality will be like as he grows and hope he and Theo will make a good pair. Right now he’s got his own separate area to play and has been doing mad binkies since I let him out of cage quarantine.

          Holy fluffballs, Batman! He’s cute

With him and Theo, you really hit the cute jackpot.

          Maybe he’s american fuzzy lop?

Mickey is positively darling! I can’t even begin to estimate age, but he looks like he’s at least a lop and lionhead mix. Just my two fils’ worth.

True! He could have lionhead in him. They shed out coat later on to get the more defined mane and skirt.
Love his little vienna markings. The white nose, toes, and that stripe.

Yeah, maybe a lionhead-lop mix!  he has blue-ish/grey eyes as far as I can tell. Vienna markings – I did not know that. I wasn’t going to get a bunny until way after Theo was neutered, but I saw this little bun and kept thinking about him for weeks. He still wasn’t sold, so decided to bite the bullet and take him home.

Q8bunny, we are not far from each other if you live in Kuwait. I am in Bahrain

Vienna, haha! Would you like me to send a Mickey-look-alike across the world? I once tried to adopt a 3 legged bun from Dubai who needed a home – $2000 would you believe!! And that’s only 40 mins by flight

“Hey Mickey you’re so fine” – now I have that da*n song in my head

No bunnies-in-cabin airlines fly out of the middle east.

Yes, as far as I know the bunny would have to go cargo, not in cabin. Are you trying to fly out of the country with your bunny, Q8? That’s a real bind!

Oh! Man he is so cute, stealing hearts all over the world

He does look a lot like a guinea pig I had as a kid! A very fluffy one <3

Thor does the same thing with her nose sometimes, I actually think in her case she is asking for nose rubs. I’m sure it depends on how his other body language is though. Congrats on your new snuggle-bug

Yes. After a decade in the sandpit we’re moving to Canada next June. He’ll go Lufthansa Cargo via a pet shipper unless there’s an empty-leg private jet seat available that month.

Bam, his personality is coming out more now he’s more relaxed in his new home. He is such a sweet, curious, soul. He loves head scratches and stroking and closes his eyes, then opens them and looks at me for a long time and then closes them again. I am falling in love. He did a flop yesterday, total body flop with feet in the air. No more shoving my hand with his nose in the air when I touch him, so I’m guessing that behavior was because he wanted get rid of me. It’s like he’s softened and knows I’m a friend (who gives lots of yummy pellets haha)

He looks like he could be 8 to 10 weeks old. Congrats on such a cutie!
