It’s been pretty warm out lately. All our pets are drinking lots the last week or so. One of my bunnies Charlie (a neutered Holland lop, about a year old) has peed large pees outside of his litterbox the last few days. He’s otherwise acting normal, maybe dropping poos outside the litterbox a little more than usual but eating well, playing and begging for loves as normal.

Has anyone else ever noticed a bunny going outside the box when drinking extra to stay cool?
His pee is pretty dilute from the extra intake right now. To clarify, my bunnies are indoors, basically have access to the whole living room 24/7. They have cool things to lay on including a leather sofa and sections of wood floor. Im thinking he might be drinking so much hes “peeing his pants” because he cant wait to get to the box?

        Thoughts?

My bunnies are drinking quite a lot but they always pee in the litter box. Is it full on puddles or drips?

Wick had the same symptom, but we figured out it was because his teeth were bothering him. When was the last time your rabbit had a dental grinding, if ever?
