Ok, so in my country nobody knows much about rabbits so i do not trust the pet shop where i got her. She is a beautiful doe named Petunia. I got her a week ago and when i got her they told me she was a 6 week mini lop (although they didn’t seem quite sure about her age). I guess she is actually younger, about 4 weeks, I’m not sure. The first few days or maybe just the first day her ears where loped, but not anymore. She has them completely up. She is super active, she runs and jumps around and she loves being pet all the time, she is a very affectionate bunny. She is just wonderful, but i just wish i knew what kind of bunny she is. I will upload some pictures, the first will be from her first day home and the others from just yesterday.

She is a lop or a lop cross, their ears can take a few months to completely lop and stay down and can go up and down in the meantime so don’t worry about that some lop crosses won’t completely lop – however I suspect yours will as she has already had them down

Depending where you the names of lops change. In the U.K. , au and nz the smaller lop is called a mini lop – in the US the smaller one ( up to 4lbs ) is called a holland lop. The bigger lop (5-8lbs) in the U.K. , au and nz is called a dwarf lop and in the US it’s called a mini. Gets confusing.
          She’s cute

Hmm, she’s probably a lop mix. It’s hard to tell age from your pictures. She could be 7 weeks, she might not be. I don’t know what the laws are in your country, but pet stores cannot sell bunnies under 8 weeks here in the US. You may want to raise concerns with the pet store.

No, here there are not any laws about selling bunnies. There should be though.

She’s adorable – looks like a holland lop to me or mini lop in UK terms. I agree, her ears will probably lop once she gets through the in between stage. She’s very cute and lucky to have you as an owner. Have you taken her to the vet for a check up yet? Lots of pet shop bunnies are infested with mites and it can take a couple of weeks before you see the signs. When I got my new baby rabbit a week ago I used Revolution (for puppies and kittens under 5 lbs) on him as a precautionary measure. It’s rabbit safe, but probably best to see a vet before deciding if you need to

Awww..she’s so adorable. Def a lop mix, for sure. So tiny, though. Sad she was taken from her Mom so young. But lucky she has you.
