        hi all,

i’m currently fostering three very young rabbits, only a few months old. my current rabbit has always had free range of my old apartment and now my new house. i’ve fenced off one of the bedrooms for the triplets (the foster buns), Pops never showed interest in that room so thought it’d be the best place.

Pops was fine the first night we had them, he was more interested in what was in the room. it’s now the second night and i think Pops has realised there’s other rabbits in the house. Pops is acting really weird, he hasn’t been eating apart from “treats” but that’s still only a few bites. he’s still drinking. he’s just been sitting in the bedroom by himself where as usually he’s hanging out where ever i am. he’s peed twice in the bedroom but usually has amazing bathroom habits and still goes to his tray to poop.

i just want to ask if this is Pops just being a sook and sulking, and the pee is just him marking his territory or if i should be worried that it’s something more?

he’s given me the occasional lick when i go to check on him in the bedroom, just not as much as usual. but! i’m hoping that because he’s still licking that he’s just a little upset.

just need to make sure it’s nothing serious because Pops is my world.

        thanks everyone!!

Hes not happy that there are strangers in his home and he cannot find them. Hes peeing where he shouldnt so they know theyre invading his territory

If hes only nibbling on treats and not eating much else, you might need to the vet so he can be treated for early stasis.

I agree, it sounds like he’s upset that there’s other rabbits in the house. Who can blame him, his territory has been invaded

Do make sure he eats, as Mikey said, you don’t want him to go into stasis.

              thanks for your replies guys!

pops seems to be out of his sulk this morning! he jumped on the bed for his morning snuggles and when i got up to feed him, both his veggie bowl and pellet bowl was empty so he’s eaten during the night.

uh oh… i just heard thumping..

i’ll see how pops goes today and tonight. maybe i might have to move the triplets to another area or in the laundry which is off the house?
