I just realized his declaw toe/toe nail looks a little weird kind of bent. It’s actually pretty long so I tried to trim it but he wouldn’t let me do I’m going to try again tomorrow. If I touch it seems to bother him. I was wondering if this could be the cause of his hurt foot that I thought was sprained. Maybe it’s not sprained and he’s just lifting his foot up because his nail hurts. Do you think this could be the reason or do you think his leg/foot is still sprained.

I will try to upload a photo of his nail tomorrow.

It’s not really possible to say without a proper examination irl, of course. My Bam has a nail that grows crooked, he’s had that for as long as I’ve had him. It’s not bothering him and the vet thought it was the result of a break a long time ago. It might of course have hurt when it was freshly injured.
