  My bunny thumper is coming up on a year old now and hes been neutered about 3months ago and he recently started trying to attack me when i was cleaning up the 40 little poops he had left all over the bedroom that share he is a free roam bun and is only locked in his house when im going to be gone for a long period of time and last night he was digging and i tryed to redirect his attention to a toy and he sprayed urine on me which hes never done? Im not sure what’s going on with his behavior but im to do what it takes to fix it. Im planning on getting him a mate when i find the right bun but with his behavior issues my husband is leery on introducing another bun

  Hmm, urine spraying is a more common issue present with unaltered rabbits, but rarely seen in males that have been fixed– I don’t think I’ve ever heard if it. He could just be territorial, or even acting out on boredom. Keep the spots where he’s digging covered up, and hopefully he’ll eventually stop. I would try your best to not let his “attacks” stop you, as he might do it more regularly. In my opinion, I definitely think getting him a friend would help with these bad habits. Keep us updated!!

  Dont get another rabbit while he is acting territorial like this. He will attack the new bun. You first need to find the reason why he is acting territorial, and combat that.
