Do you mean they had worms and were treated or they were given preventative worming treatment?

Dewormers can cause mild stomach upset because they have their action in the GI canal. So it’s not unheard of. Supportive care with runny Critical Care and perhaps some baby gas drops (simethicone) could help.

There’s of course always the possibility that an individual doesn’t tolerate a specific dewormer, but I’ve only heard that about Dutch bunnies (you know the distinctively marked black and white or brown and white buns). The symptoms would then be neurological, not gastric-intestinal.

There’s also a slight possibility that an animal has a very heavy worm infestation and get sick when large numbers of worms suddenly die inside them. But if the deworming was preventative I doubt they were heavily infested.

So I got the bunnies, got them home and have been feeding him critical care but I found worms in his poops, now I’m worried about the rest of the buns? Can I use ivermectin? Or just call my vet? 2 were treated with ivermectin the 3rd was never treated so can I give it to her as a preventative or agin just call the vet?

They were treated with Ivermectin from the place you got them from? Were they given any other meds?
It’s a little odd they didn’t just treat all 3.

It depends on type of worms they are. You might be better off using fenbendazole (panacur).

Did the bunnies have clean bottoms?
