I have no idea what breed/mix my bunny is. He’s either 11 or 12 weeks old, and he’s 2 pounds, 1 ounce. Does anyone have a formula (ex: dogs are about 1/2 their adult weight at 4 months) or a educated guess on how big he will be when he’s fully grown? How big were your buns at that age and how big are they now?

I’ve only had one rabbit from a young age to judge from, but at 14 weeks, he was roughly half of his final adult weight. However, different sized rabbits grow at different rates, so smaller breeds at 14 weeks may be closer to their adult size than my medium boy was at 14 weeks. But I’d say it’d still be somewhat close.

I have a 12 week old mini lop who is almost 2 pounds (850g). I expect him to be about 4 pounds or between 1.5-2kg when he’s fully grown.
