I consder my rabbit a very picky eater. His teeth are in tip-top shape- he loves hay, cilantro, bananas, carrots, mint, and even carrot cookies. He goes crazy for treats- but he’s very selective. He won’t eat lettuce, strawberries, rasberries, ANY pellets, and certain brands of hay. He also hates store bought treats EXCEPT papaya. I’ve always given him the Kaytee Fiesta mix because he liked it- but recently I found he wasn’t eating the pellets, jst the seeds and dried fruit. He’s always been a slow hay eater- he doesn’t eat it that much even though I give him fresh hay daily and enough to last him the day. He eats it but he just doesn’t eat enough. His poop is healthy and he’s active, and gets at the most 10 hours out of his cage. He drinks plenty of water. He just will not eat pellets. I’ve even given hom fluffed up ones and he just won’t touch them. I switched him over to Oxbow Adult rabbit food as soon as I realized he was only eating seeds and dry fruit. After switching him over little by little for 3 weeks he was fully on the Oxbow food. But then… I realized he wasn’t eating them. He became very hungry and even hay didn’t seem to satisfy it. I’d give him veggies daily but he’ll only eat about 4 bits of cilantro before refusing it. It wastes it if he isn’t in the mood. I’d give him more but he literally only will eat cilantro and mint for veggies. He’s going to the vet end of the month but it’s killing me seeing him be so hungry. I’ve increased his hay but he only eats a little bit. I’m so confused because he loves food but he’s so picky that I’m afraid it’ll hurt his health soon.

Does your rabbit drink plenty of water? If he does then there are vitamin drops you can try mixing into his water so that he can at least get his daily vits. My rabbit can be the same way so I got the drops to ensure that he at at least gets the essentials.
